Hi, my name is Karin.
By bringing together my corporate background in Sales & Marketing, almost two decades of private practice as a Life and Career Coach & Psychotherapist in the City of London and online, plus a profound interest in the spiritual wisdom traditions, I aspire to bring depth and meaning to every aspect of your life.
I’m often told I am like a bridge between Business and Buddha, combining Eastern Philosophy, in particular Buddhism, with Western Psychology in order help you to experience calm, connection and kindness in your heart and life.
I don’t promise you a magic formula, or a panacea for all ills and, I don’t know about you, but I certainly didn’t get a handbook at birth. But there is a way of navigating through whatever life throws at you that makes it easier to get perspective, easier to stay in touch with yourself and what’s important and easier to enjoy a richer, deeper experience.

Sometimes our own lack of confidence of being able to make a change can mean we never get going in the first place. There may be other worries lurking in our minds; Will I have to completely change who I am? Can I do that? Do I deserve to be that happy? Do I have the support of my family? Will my partner approve of the changes I want to make? Will it work out?
This course has been created as a very gentle and supportive companion, it will support you in becoming clearer about yourself, it will help you explore and heal in the most gentle way and you are in control of how this shapes your life. Also, this course is completely self-paced, and taking small steps at your own rhythm will one day get you exactly where you'd like to be!
I know from experience that once the pathway is clear, once we are free from what is getting in the way, then it absolutely is possible to make the changes we want for ourselves. -
This one is a common worry. It's partly a genuine fear as inconvenient stuff is going to come to the surface. Almost guaranteed. But it's like a spring clean; once you're free of the old, unnecessary stuff you'll feel so much lighter and there will be space for the new.
And yes, change can be inconvenient. Moving away from what we know is scary, even when it's not making us happy. If you are at peace with the way things are, then don't change. But if you feel there is more out there for you, be courageous and jump in. One day you'll look back and you'll be grateful that you did.As you might travel through delicate territory we want to make sure you'll be alright along the way. I can honestly say you may never really feel like it’s the right moment for anything, perhaps that right moment doesn’t really exist...
One thing I do know is that when something comes across our path that makes us ask that question it’s helpful to pay attention to that. I do believe that there is part of us that is always longing for and working towards realising the best possible expression of ourselves. I know that we gain confidence by taking an active step towards creating a more positive future and I do know that when we avoid making our own inner work a priority, we can find ourselves frustrated, resentful and unfulfilled. I know that it’s far more likely that we regret the things we don’t do rather than the things we do and that agency and action create a positive spiral of confidence, momentum and change for the better.
And of course, when something truly matters to us we don't wait and see, we actively create time for it. When something is important, we always find a way. -
