Why me?
Qualified Psychotherapist, experienced Coach, over 15 years of full-time client practice in the City of London and online, dedicated to love for as long as she remembers.
Meet Karin Peeters.
She is both a Coach and a Therapist, and can therefore solve your problem from its origins in your younger years, and at the same time work solution-oriented in the here and now so that your life becomes more fulfilling and joyous. It also means that she has completed a rigorous five year psychotherapy training, has been in therapy for seven years to clean up her own stuff and therefore really knows what she is doing in her profession. Trust me, she has not just taken a course for a weekend and calls herself a specialist like so many out there do.
She has a corporate background, so understands the elbowing culture and the office politics in which you find yourself.
She lived in India and Nepal for a combined total of 3.5 years and attended hundreds of Buddhist teachings, meditation practices and retreats. A friend once called her a commercial tiger and Buddhist Zen monk in one, and that combination of down-to-earth practicality and deep spirituality is indeed very Karin. She likes to bring together modern Western psychology and ancient Eastern philosophy to enrich her clients’ lives.
She doesn’t promise you a magic formula, or a panacea for all ills and, not sure about you, but she certainly didn’t get a handbook at birth. Good question. We may be going a little “too fast” for you. This program is relatively short and part of it is self-study. A strong foundation within yourself in other areas of life will help you to quickly understand the material and be able to implement it. That said, it's very common for clients who join this program to recognise similar dynamics at work, for example with their manager, or with a parental figure or certain friend. The short answer: no. This program is a gift for yourself. The idea is that you become more of your own person again in your relationship, independent from your partner. Not separate, less close, or apart. But independent in the sense that you own your own strength again, and that this is not reliant on your partner. The great thing is, indirectly your partner will definitely benefit from this program, because you will take everything you learn home with you, and as a couple you will reap the benefits!

Straight away! You’ll receive access the online course material immediately, and we’ll schedule our first session as soon as possible, depending on the availability of each of us. Usually this is within two weeks, but possibly sooner.

Oh yes, most definitely. It’s common to fall back into old patterns, and to do a new round of Coaching and Therapy brings deeper awareness and new insights. To be clear, if you don’t feel insecure around your partner, can speak your truth with clarity and ease, and feel your emotional needs are met in your relationship, you do not need this program.

Besides the one-to-one sessions (50 minutes each), you’ll receive online course material to watch and journalling exercises to do. The more you’ll put in, the more profound your insights and increase of your confidence will be. I estimate about two hours a week will be plenty. When you’re able and interested to invest more time, I can recommend books to read, YouTube or TED talks to watch, and podcasts to listen to from other experts in the field of Love & Relationships. For sure, the time you’ll dedicate to this program will be a lot less compared to how much time you spend worrying or having the same painful arguments…
